Stardew Valley is a simulation RPG where players move to the countryside and begin a new life on the Farm with a few coins in their pockets and some hand-me-down tools. As the game progresses, players learn how to live off the land with skills such as mining, fishing, and cultivating crops. Besides that, Stardew Valley also allows players to master cooking and crafting items from scratch.

These items are stored in the Inventory. The Inventory in Stardew Valley essentially acts as the player’s backpack. It allows them to store and carry items with them as they travel around the Valley. Players don’t need access to all sorts of forageables, stone, wood, and fish when they’re just running about – not to mention the ores and geodes collected in the Mines. But what happens when players create too many things, and their inventories are filled up? To store extra items, cooked foods, and other Artisan goods, players can create Wood Chests.

The easiest way to store all the items in one place is by creating a Wood Chest. Players can color-grade their Chests and organize items according to their preferences. The only requirement to craft a wooden Chest is 50 pieces of Wood. Players can either cut down trees or collect wood around their farm using their axes. Chopping down on trees gives 10 pieces of wood at a time.

A Chest will be crafted and stored in the player’s Inventory.

There are different ways to move Chests – depending on whether they’re Empty or Loaded.

Stardew Valley is available now for Android, iOS, PC, PS4, Switch, and Xbox One.
